Conference Exhibitor List
VS1: BrainMaster Atlantis 3.0 Hardware/Software Seminar (8 Hours)
BrainMaster Technologies, Inc.
Thomas Colurra, PhD. tomc1@brainm.com
This full-day vendor's workshop will cover the use of the BrainMaster EEG and peripheral biofeedback hardware and software. It will quickly cover the basics of setting up training folders and designing protocols. It will cover all aspects of EEG biofeedback including basic, mulitchannel, connectivity and Z-score training. Demonstrations will include EEG, HEG, temperature training, and DC and slow cortical potential training. Control of realworld devices using the BrainTruck interface will also be explained. Use of the Event Wizard to design protocols and control events wil be shown.
VS2: BioGraph Infinity Training Plus New features and Applications (8 Hours)
Thought Technology, Ltd
Marc Saab, M.Eng. marc@thoughttechnology.com
Didier Combatalade, D.C. research@thoughttechnology.com
BioGraph Infiniti now includes the most comprehensive set of EEG-related features and applications in the neurofeedback market. These include z-score biofeedback, low frequency EEG training, evoked and slow cortical potentials, reaction time testing for sports and peak performance, Gabor JTFA frequency separation, industry-standard connectivity metrics and many more. Along with the new Quick Start feature, the only one of its kind on the market, BioGraph Infiniti offers unparalleled training and data processing possibilities. With the largest library of algorithms and computations, as well as its exclusive safety and reliability features, such as pause-on-disconnect and in-session impedance checking, BioGraph Infiniti remains at the top of its class.
For your benefit, many applications using these leading edge EEG features are being developed by the leaders in the field for use with our Infiniti product line.
In this seminar, the basics of BioGraph Infiniti will be demonstrated: how to record, review and report an EEG session. An introduction to the advanced EEG algorithms and hot new features will be given as well.
Come and discover the most advanced and widely used neurofeedback system in the world.
VS 3: Deymed Product Seminar: TruScan 32 and BrainFeedback System (8 Hours)
Deymed Diagnostics
Douglas Youngberg, douglas@deymed.com
This seminar will cover the TruScan 32 qEEG-Neurofeedback system as well as the BrainFeedback Pro system. The morning session will cover the fundamentals of qEEG recordings and basic hardware and software use. The afternoon session will focus on the newest Brainfeedback software release; designing neurofeedback protocols including referential, bipolar, coherence, linear channel combinations, and z-score training. We are welcoming all Deymed users and all other interested professionals from 9 AM to 5 PM.
VS 4: New Mind Analysis & Report Services for Neurofeedback Practitioners
(4 Hours, 9 AM to 1 PM)
New Mind Technologies
Richard Soutar, drs@newmindcenter.com
This is a half day seminar that focuses on interpreting qEEG, deriving protocols, and writing reports. We will explore the correlates of cognitive and emotional problems in terms of power, magnitude, asymmetry, dominant frequency, phase, and coherence. This will involve a review of 10-20 and Brodmann relationships and how location is related to function. Discussion will also cover how these correlates influence behavior. In addition, we will review artifacting and processing strategies for both BrainMaster MiniQ and NeuroGuide, as well as common report writing formats and their variations. A brief review of the New Mind-Apps website for clinical analysis and client management will be included for those presently using our service.
VENDOR DEMOMSTRATION
The Comprehensive Neurodiagnostic Checklist to the 1020 Power (CNC 1020)
EEG Professionals, Derk Mulder, Ph.D., dmulder@neurofeedback.nl
EEG Professionals, Thomas Brownback, M.Ed., brownbackmason@choiceonemail.com
This workshop will cover how to enhance your neurotherapy training through the use of the newly computerized version of the Brownback Mason and Associates Neurofeedback System (BMANS) Manual Three: Neurodiagnostic Evaluation Procedure within an International 10-20 System Framework.
The first component of this procedure is a comprehensive neurodiagnostic checklist structured within the International 10-20 System, called The Comprehensive Neurodiagnostic Checklist to the 1020 Power or CNC 1020 for short. The CNC 1020 is a 300 item checklist which fleshes out 42 different neuropathologies (ADD, depression, OCD, GAD, etc.). These neuropathologies are then displayed on four color-coded International 10-20 System heads. The CNC 1020 calculates the probability for the inclusion of each neuropathology. The CNC 1020 then demonstrates which International 10-20 System placements are associated with each neuropathology.
This workshop will begin with several demonstrations: #1, using the CNC 1020 to guide clinical interpretation of the QEEG or mini QEEG; #2, using the CNC 1020 to facilitate selecting the most appropriate electrode placements for BrainMaster or Thought Technology z-score training; #3, using the CNC 1020 to enhance training without the use of a brainmap.
The second half of this workshop will cover the EEG Professionals computerization of the CNC 1020, including how clients and significant others can fill out the CNC 1020 checklist either at home or at their therapist's office, how these checklists can be combined, how these checklists can be displayed in different ways and the computerized response time after scoring. Questions and answers and a live demonstration will conclude the presentation.
(The CNC 1020 is the first of a number of neurotherapy products created out of a joint venture between Brownback Mason and Associates and the Neurofeedback Institute of the Netherlands. Tom and Linda Brownback of Brownback Mason and Associates have been in the field of neurotherapy for over 30 years. They have been involved in various capacities; professor, clinicians, workshop presenters throughout North America and Europe and through the creation of the Brownback Mason and Associates Neurofeedback System (BMANS) eight manual series which has been sold in many countries around the world. Derk Mulder is the president of the Neurofeedback Institute of the Netherlands (NIN) the largest neurotherapy provider in Europe. He is also president of EEG Professionals the software arm of (NIN). The CNC 1020 is the first of a number of neurotherapy products being computerized by EEG professionals coming out of the (BMANS) manual series which is presently being translated into six different languages).
